Maui Dreamin'

Since lifejogger said he'd like to see more...feel free to blame him if I've overdone it a second time.

My last post featured a flight around Maui's Haleakala volcano. This morning I took an early morning loop around Maui's western end from Kahului Airport and back again. The sun sure does come up in a hurry:

Those are very nice screen shots and I am glad you posted some more. By the way. what scenery is that, the colors are outstanding.

Thanks. The photoscenery is my own. It's a work in progress and about 1/2 done. I had hoped to have it released in time for last Christmas but life intervened. So far I've completed and released Kauai and Niihau, both available here. As far as this current project (Maui) is concerned, some of the autogen, etc is mine but most of what you're seeing so far is Charles Reid's. He created a new Maui landclass and also redid the airports, added towns, and revised the autogen and buildings. His work--"FSX Scenery And Landclass For Maui"--is available here in the file library. It works really well over the top of my photoscenery (and probably anyone else's) and is excellent on it's own in FSX. As far as I'm concerned, if you fly in Maui, it's a must-have scenery addition.
