    At first glance...

    light.7 = 5,-77.0,19,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_rw //Landing right wing
    light.8 = 5,-76.0,-19.0,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing

    That is the position of the lights, fore and aft. I would suspect them needing to be the same.

    I would change light.8 to 77, since that is the left wing light.

    Before changing that, I also just noticed...

    light.8 = 5,-76.0,-19.0,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing

    ...try adding another slash mark, I think there needs to be 2.

    Here is one thing that I see that might remotely make a difference. Look at the section of the Lights coordinates:

    light.7 = 5,-77.0,19,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_rw //Landing right wing
    light.8 = 5,-76.0,-19.0,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing

    See where you have 19 in one line but int he next you have -19.0? I'm thinking that you have to have them both read either 19 and -19 or 19.0 and -19.0 respectively. Mathematically it doesn't change the value but who knows, they may need to be the mirror image of each other in order to work. Let me know how that turns out.

    FYI, I will decode this a bit further...
    light.8 = 5,-76.0,-19.0,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing =
    light.8 = 5,position fore (+) and aft (-),position right (+) and left (-),position up (+) and down (-), fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing

    ...so you do need a 19.0 and a -19.0 or both lights would be on the same side of the plane.

    Also, there is no difference between 19 and 19.0, either will work.

    ok so far so good... found another lot of code to use and it seems to work

    [LIGHTS]

    light.0 = 3, -225.90, 0.30, 4.720, fx_shockwave_navwhi_l, // Position Aft
    light.1 = 3, -225.90, -0.30, 4.720, fx_shockwave_navwhi_l, // Position Aft
    light.2 = 2, -225.52, 0.00, 3.940, fx_shockwave_strobe_l, // Strobe Aft
    light.3 = 1, -33.596, -0.50, 14.868, fx_shockwave_beaconb_nl, // Beacon Top
    light.4 = 1, -86.149, 0.00, -11.735, fx_shockwave_beaconb, // Beacon Bottom
    light.5 = 5, -78.500, 20.40, -3.700, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow, // Landing light
    light.6 = 5, -78.500, -20.40, -3.700, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow, // Landing light
    light.7 = 5, -77.000, 18.30, -3.700, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow, // Landing light
    light.8 = 5, -77.000, -18.30, -3.700, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow, // Landing light
    light.9 = 8, -77.000, 26.00, -4.000, fx_pmdgwinglight, // Wing light illumination
    light.10= 8, -77.000, -26.00, -4.000, fx_pmdgwinglight, // Wing light illumination

    as you can see the wheel lights are off now so will try and blend/merge part of both codes together see if that works........I read somewhere it could be down to the flex wings......anyhow i will get it solved one day.........then i want to have better contrails now that is a head banger for me, I had ago a few months back and FAILED!

    thanks for all the help so far........

    cheers

    david.....
