    Exclamation Desktop Crash

    Hi,

I have a little, actually big problem. When I launch FSX.exe, the splash screen appears. After about 20 seconds, the splash screen disappears and I am back to my desktop. No other programs are running, I have tried restarting the System, have tries deleting the logbook.bin file and have deleted all of the previous flight files. Please Help!!!!!!!!

Find FSX.cfg and rename that to fsx.cfg.bak. then reboot the sim.

You may have made the problem worse by deleting the previous flight files.

Thanks. I will restore my previous flight files. Just one question, would I be able to then restore my FSX configuration file to get all of my settings back?

    Thanks alot!

Still doesn't work. Have restored all previous flight files and have renamed fsx.cfg to fsx.cfg.bak. Any suggestions?

Did you actually rename the right FSX.cfg?

Yep I found the FSX.cfg and renamed it to FSX.cfg.bak. It does the exact same thing still.
