    G'day All

I have only had FS2002 for a couple of months and tonight was the first time I have joined a multiplayer session.
The other person I was flying with had a different aircraft type than me but it only showed a Skyhawk and his prop was not moving.

Is there a reason why this was happening.

    Thanks for any help.

    G'Day Dave.
Ok, well, the part about the prop not moving is due to FS. U cannot fix that as of yet anyway. And u probably also noticed that the other aircraft had no landing gear. (Same thing). As for the aircraft showing as a C172 is because he was flying a 3rd party aircraft (Not default). An example:
If he was flying a POSKY 747 and u didnt have that model. He would show as probably a C172 or 737. But if u had downloaded and installed the SAME POSKY model as he was flying. It would show as that 747. I hope u understand what Im saying, lol.
    Hope this helps.

Although I do not profess to be an expert on MP, I think the landing gear problem you mentioned can be solved by doing the following:

After the MP session has started, go back to the pulldown window and click on "settings". From there, tick the box "send and receive aircraft textures" or something like that, I can't remember the exact wording, but you'll see what I mean when you open that option up.
And, as flightstrike explained, if you do not have the aircraft textures in your FS that your friend is flying in MP, you will not see that aircraft. For example, when I fly with someone who's in the new 421, I see him as being in the Baron 58 because I don't have the 421.
And I've never had any success as seeing the prop move on other planes either, although I can hear the engine if we get too close.

    Hope this helps some :)

    Best Regards,
