Bump!........??????

I've been on the net for about 6 years now but this has been bugging me.

I see a lot of posts by people,then follow up posts by the same person saying 'bump'

what the hell does it mean.??
Somthing to do with nobody talking to em ???

Depending on how you have your forum options set, "bump" refers to bumping a post to the top of the list.

Bump simple moves the thread to the top of the forum page, same as a reply would, so that the chance others will read it will increase.

Just to move a topic back to the top of the board which may have scrolled down several topics or even to the second or third page. People will bump something they think important.
