Thread: FSX picture problems

  1. Default FSX picture problems

I am fairy new to FSX and it has been working OK until a couple of days ago.The problem seems to be within the graphics/settings whereby I seem to get a juddering effect(slow/quick) when the aircraft is going down the runway-it seems that the runway does not feel right. In addition in flight I seem to get a slight shaking of the aircraft in flight(when I am looking at it)

I guess it is a settings issue but after playing around with it I do not seem able to solve the issue.I have a powerful computer with intel Quad Core,4gb ddr3 memory and a 512mb graphics card.
I should welcome any advice as to what the problem may be and how I can solve it.
    Many thanks in anticipation.

    Default

    Limit the fps
    Rebuild the fsx.cfg file
    Turn down slider settings
Mute sound to see if that is the cause.

There are quite literally millions of posts in tens of thousands of topics about this issue down through the years. Googling may well be a better solution if you can't add more definitive information here - which OS? Wha version of FSX? Have you added any addons recently? etc. etc.

    Hi,thanks for your reply.

I have FSX acceleration and I have recently added on REX,which has been working fine. Please excuse my ignorance but what is the fps and how do I rebuild the fsx.cfg file.

I would appreciate your reply and thank you in anticipation.
