Question numbering of sceneries in scenery library

I live in Florida and fly a lot around the state as well as many other places. should my scenery library have all of the Florida scenery lumped together such as 1-10 all Florida scenery and same with other locales? and when i fly in Florida should i check all the boxes for Florida and have all the other boxes unchecked? Of course i have all the high level boxes always checked is that also correct? I don't have a way of checking but when i ventubo'd it it helped tremendously but i dont think it had any effect on my scenery did it. (do i need to put these in separate quesions? still learning your system but find it awesome. Visit often and learn something new every time.

Numbering together isn't necessary. Though it would make related sceneries easier to find in the list.

The hierarchy of the layers could matter though, if you have mesh and object libraries. Those need to be below(lower priority/higher number) any scenery that uses them.

As far as checked/unchecked, I haven't seen any real difference either way. Probably because the sim only loads the scenery as it goes. Didn't notice initial load time...Don

So anything "meshy" or having to do with runways, lights, props or "base like" should be at the high end of the spectrum. I notice under "base" there are continent files and then country but lets say i have a country at 137 and i have a city in that country, the city should always have a lower number than the country (138 for example) which is lower than the continent (160 for example) and which is under the mesh (175). but at 152 i could have a different city. I think i have it right but want fully to understand it i enjoy my flying and my system works well despite my lack of knowledge but I'm trying to learn and make sure I'm optimizing my fun. I appreciate your help in advance and any others that might appear. Thanks for your time and ideas.

Yeah, I think you understand. They use priority, Lower numbers=higher priority(on top), higher numbers=lower priority(below)...Don
