Cool Removing unwanted info from screen

Hi everyone, is there a way of stopping fs2004 from showing info on the screen? The things I am talking about is brake on, the zoom levels, exit open/close, tower/spot/virtual views these sort of things. As I want to take screen shots and record footage without all that stuff ruining the shots. Thanks for now.

    Hi,

Open your FS9.cfg file and edit as follows:

Scroll down untill you find the [MAIN] section. Change HideMenuFullscreen=0 to HideMenuFullscreen=1, and HideInfoText=0 to HideInfoText=1.
Scroll down untill you find the [SIM] section. Add following line: SHOW_BRAKE_MESSAGE=0.

If you do not see the [SIM] section, you simply create it at the end of the FS9.cfg file. Fs will put it in place.

Also, some will stop showing if you just wait a minute or 2.
    Thanks,

FS2004 Utility--Message Kill. This is a follow-up to the original NOBRAKES.ZIP Flight Simulator 2004 language.dll file modification. This language.dll file mod eliminates a much wider variety of pop-up scroll bar messages than before and is geared toward the group of hardcore, more experienced simmers. By Julie Rhodes.
