Thread: Auto wing leveling - can I slow it down

  1. Default Auto wing leveling - can I slow it down

Gang, I just realized that I can pre-set a command to level my wings in flight. Up until now (assuming I wasn't tracking a flight plan via GPS and autopilot), if I made a turn, in order to get back to level wings I'd have to leave my cherished wing view and go back to cockpit view to check the instruments. So now I set a key stroke to level the wings. But it happens unrealistically fast. So much so that it almost starts to turn the plane the other way before bringing it to level flight. Anyone know if you can slow that process by making adjustments to the FS9 or actual aircraft cfg file?

  2. Default

Just a thought, but maybe reducing aileron effectiveness in the [flight_tuning] section of the aircraft.cfg file would help.

Save a copy of your current aircraft.cfg before you start, just in case.
