MS Force Feedback Joystick

Hope someone can advise. Force feedback & centering worked OK on FS2000. Having now moved to FS2002 I can only get one or the other to work and this seems to be random. I have tried reloading both FS2002 and FFsoftware (including via chipset update). I'm running with an AMD 1.4Gz proccessor. Can get first flight to operate (with one or the other) but only provided I have gone into control panel/gaming options and re-saved the previous settings. Try another flight without logging out and neither works.

If you are talking about the original Force Feedback Pro, you should not be installing it's own software as it's not compatable with Windows XP.
Instead, just plug it in and XP do the rest.

Why are you using self-centering in a flight sim product..?

I have self-centring turned OFF and forces turned to LOW and have no difficulties.
