Black vc background in Thomas Ruth A310

First off, the guages are present and working. It's the background that is black/missing. I've checked out his A300 and it works fine. Even the cockpit lighting appears to not be working.

Any ideas?

I think you have to copy some cockpit textures from default aircraft to the texture folder.
I think it is in the readme?

There are textures in the default A321 that need to be copied in the texture file. There is also a updated texture file that was modded the make to interior image sharper. When I get off work I'll post the links, if you need any help just pm me. I have all of the Thomas A33 series aircraft as well as the 727. He makes a great model.

I've just downloaded his A330, and yes, there's alot of default stuff I needed to copy over.

First thing you need to do is to copy the following files from your default FSX Airbus A321 texture. This is the 1 file folder in your default Airbus A321 that just says "texture".

I found it easier to make a new folder "A33X" and put those 4 files into it, then move it into where you have your A33X folder at.

These are the files you need to copy!!

Airbus_A321_1_C.dds
Airbus_A321_2_C.dds
Airbus_A321_3_C.dds
Airbus_A321_4_C.dds

You do not need any other files from the default Airbus just these 4 files. Copy thoe 4 files and paste them into the texture files of the Thomas Ruth Airbus texure files only and, for any other texture or repaint textures you might have in that folder.

Now you should have the textures to cover the black area...however these textures are blurry, so I would recommend you download Jordi Watmore's A321 textures. a321_cp.zip I used this same file for my default A321. Thanks Jordi.

This texture file sharpens the blurry textures...trust me you will see the difference.

By adding those 4 files from your default Airbus and the texture upgrade you will have one very cool aircraft indeed. IMO this is one of the top freeware aircraft you can get.

Thomas Ruth has been putting out some, very very good aircraft.

If you have any questions or miss something , just pm me. I've got mine tweaked out with sounds and some updated panels, and they are a joy to fly. AND MAN IS SHE BIG AND BEAUTIFUL.
