Thread: The Alphasim/Virtavia North American T-28 Is Now Freeware

Cool The Alphasim/Virtavia North American T-28 Is Now Freeware

Both an FS9 version (seen here) and a native FSX version are now available at : http://www.easyfly.co.nz/Freeware/index.php?dir=/USA

The T-28 Trojan holds a special place in my heart , as it was the first radial engined aircraft I ever flew - including a very old pic of me standing on the wing of the real deal during pre-flight, circa 1991. Flying out of NAS Miramar here, did not load any ai during this flight, sometimes I get a FPS hit with alot of AI in place, and Miramar has quite alot with the MAIW package ...

    Enjoy ! Mike

Another Trojan Test Pilot! I cut my teeth as an apprentice erk on T-28`s at a restoration shop in the early `90`s. We had a few T-28 `golden wrench`winners at Oskosh. Great shots!

nice shots, like the clouds and scenery in em! i never even thought of it in those terrms, but the first radial i ever flew was a stearman kaydet, and the only radial monoplane was a t-6. sure would love to have flown a t-28!

Thanks for the link, I'm on it! Haven't used a Trojan since my vasectomy. — Bob

I love when payware becomes freeware. I would really like that to happen with the Virtavia SR-71, as all the freeware ones are terrible.

In the process of downloading it right now - there is one of these based at my local airfield, here's a slightly dodgy cellphone photo of it in the hangar:
