Cool A little OT, FS2000 on an FS9 computer

I'm sure many of you remember trying to get some descent performance from FS2000. All the tricks we tried to get it to perform as advertised are no longer needed and that's good. I was wondering if anybody had tried FS2000 on a modern computer and what was the performance like compared to when it came out and frustrated most enthusiasts. Looking at todays computer specs and the demands of FS2000 it might be quite an eye opener. Rather similar to the demands of FSX I'd think.

    Cool Satisfied my curiosity

I loaded FS2000 and it took a couple of minutes. I was remembering the fight to get frame rates you could live with was a frustration. Now it never goes below 66.2 FPS and it's a smooth as glass. I guess that's progress. I'd forgotten it had some AI and that was a surprise. I guess it was about 4 computer generations too soon. Sounds just like FSX today. Amazing what 10 years of development can do.
