Hi,
Does the volume control usually work?
Headphones plugged into the sound card or into a speaker. Your post was a bit confusing.
sorry about that sir. yes my head phones are plugged into the intigrated sound card. and the volume controls worked when i got the pc. but now there not working. and it's only about 2 months old. now my graphics card has sound drivers of it's own. im just wondering if thats causeing trouble? i tried shutting down the computer and unplugging the keyboard and pluggin it back. and still got no sound control. every things running really good it's just a mucked up keyboard. lol

Reformatting sounds like drastic action to cure such a problem. I was about to suggest a couple of things that may have saved you from having to that.
Like reinstalling the keyboard drivers or using system restore to go back to when you did not have the problem.
Anyway, main thing I guess, is that you've got it working!

oh. sorry noell. but yes sir i did try that and that didn't work. but it's no biggie. i got it working again. i didn't lose much any way. just one simulation thats all.
