A fuel Question...

this might be a stupid question but how do i find out how much fuel i will need for a journey? i'm sure there is an easy answer to this somewhere but im just horribly ignorant :P

This may not be the correct way but I use the Flight Planner to set a departing and arriving airport then look at the Navigation Log to see the amount of fuel (gallons) I need. You can do this and then Esc out if you don't want to save the flight plan. I then usually add a few more gallons to make up for go arounds. For example, if I need 45% fuel to cover the mileage. I'll usually enter about 50% fuel.

What Cybertrex said is probably the best way to do it, since I don't like to download third party software that does stuff like that. But I sometimes just take a guess, especially in the Cessna Skyhawk, but that plane is fuel effecient so you can afford to miss by a few gallons.

Go with AC103010 told you. I have been using it for years and
it works fine. Have also been recommending it on here and, who
knows, maybe this is where AC103010 got it from.
