Inspired By A TV Show!

Hi guys,I watched the first episode of "Flying Wild Alaska" on the Discovery Channel last friday night and it was very entertaining. I hope it lasts for more than just a couple of shows!It is based on a company called Era Alaska owned by Jim Tweto and run mostly by his family members.They run a fleet of @75 planes all the way from tundra equipped bushbirds to a Shorts 360 cargo plane. Deals a lot with day to day operations and the problems faced by fuel and permits to quirky customers.Check it out if you like that sort of thing,meanwhile,I did a short flight out of Era's base of Ops,Unalakleet,Ak.to Anvik,Ak. about a 90 mile flight,hope you enjoy the pics!

Darren,we can't get "Ice Pilots" down here in the states so I just have to settle for whatever I can find on the tube!
