Question Do you think a new graphics card would help much?

Hi: Anyone have any insight on whether a graphics card addition to my system rather than my onboard graphics would help much. I know that generally speaking, onboard graphics aren't very good for FSX, but I can currently get 15-20 FPS, smooth always except with lots of clouds it can be jerky. I have no add on scenery or add on weather.

    My specs are:
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Cord Processor 2.2 Ghz
    Motherboard: RS780
    Ram: 7.75 GB
GPU: 256 MB (onboard) ATI Radeon HD 3200

well to be honest with you. i don't think theres a card on the market at the moment that will run fsx the way fs9 runs. because i tried the demo of fsx when i had a radeon 5550hd card and it would not run it. now if you have another flightsim besides fsx. then yes an add-on card would help in a lot of ways. but an addon card for fsx is impossible to find that will get ya more then 10 to 15 fps. you could set all the sliders to very sparse but then what fun is that?
