Here she is... cruising.... one of my favorite airplanes.
As we approach California we're cleared to 18000...
Making our way to our new assigned altitude of 15000... what a view!!
Descending to 8000, ATC is vectoring us for an ILS approach on Runway 6L.
ATC has us approaching from the north...now cleared to 4100...
Slowly descending as we clear the mountains making our way to the coast.
ATC now has us flying south along the coast....the approach checklist is complete as we are cleared to intercept the ILS and contact LAX tower....
Slowing the 727 down with some flaps.... lets start the landing checklist...
On finals... we are cleared to land on Runway 6L...check flaps full and gear down....
...and with a smooth landing we can say we survived anotherone!!!
Thanks for watching.

I love the 727 also, or the "Twenny Seven" as I like to call it.
