Newbie: FS2004 - how does one turn-ON / OFF < Autotune > in Cessna C172SP ?

I am finally learning how to use the VOR, but I still haven't read all of the ATC material.
In the meantime

QUESTION:
1. FS9 how does one turn-ON / OFF < Autotune > in Cessna C172SP?

2. Can you recommend a concise description of how to use ATC: < Autotune> OFF

You don't turn Autotune on and off, either you use it or you don't.

When you open the ATC window you will often be given options like "tune to ATC Agent".

To Autotune you press the corresponding key on your keyboard.

To not Autotune you would call up the radio stack and change the frequency manually.

Does that explain it?
