I got these planes from the iris freeware range. They look and perform like the real thing but the gauges appear as black holes where the gauges should be. Is there a way to fix this?

I have the F-15E, Mig 27 and 29 working in FSX with some minor changes. They should work IN FS2004 with no changes. Do you have the F15E_Gauges and the IRIS_Fulcrum gauges in the panel or gauges folders? PM me if you need help. Regards, Bob.
I too have downloaded the EAP and F-15 Strike Eagle only to discover the gauges do not work, despite both being for flight simulator 2004. whats going wrong? any responses much appreciated.
similarly, the afterburners do not work. how can this be fixed?
Hello,
I use all those IRIS freewares planes with no problems in FS2004 (no panels or effects problems)
I put always all the gauges files (and folders if any .... "CAB" ) in the panel folder of the plane
Be sure to have also in your effect folder all the effect files and the textures (if any) in the texture subfolder of the effect folder
Effects are working !

If you gave a couple of monkeys a box of ballpoints, enough paper, and enough time, they'd eventually finish up writing the complete works of Shakespeare
