Fsx has stopped working

After a reinstall the loading panel comes up... scenery files are loaded and then a panel says " FSX has stopped working please close the program.". Anyone help Thanks Nevd

when you uninstalled did you confirm that ALL files, folders and references were removed from your HD?

remove the fsX.cfg file to your desktop and start FSX. the game will create a new cfg file.
