If You save the flight after you download the weather then you will save the weather with it.

Does this saved weather mean the Real World Weather for the whole Globe? that means it doesn't have to be downloaded again, even if it is a bit out of date with the latest downloadable.
Chris
I'm almost certain that if you download it, it stays the same,
all over the world, until you select to download the weather
again. As far as saving it to a disc or file, I don't know the
answer to that question.
One way to check out what I said above, visit a few airports,
lets say in the Southern hemisphere, as they are having more
changes, because it is winter there. Visit again in a few days
and at the same time. Conditions will most likely be the same,
unless you downloaded new weather in between.
What I normally do is set myself up at my home airport (MHT)
and download the weather. I then save the flight as MMDD AM (or
PM). That way I will have the weather for that day to play
around with until I feel like deleting it.

One question, if you save a flight with Real Weather - either global or local - then when you take the flight again, you will have saved weather not real weather.
I always figured the idea of Real Weather was just that, the actual weather at the actual time you are making the flight - both in real time. Otherwise, just make up a time and weather for the flight.
Your mileage may vary, of course.

Real World Weather, even if its saved and has been used for a few flights, contains enough variation, I think, to be used again. Yes, the most accurate way to to have real weather is to download it every time you fly. However, for many, this is too much hassle, and would be willing to use the same real world weather a few times for the sake of convenience.
If the previous flight is default on startup then the previous real world weather should be retained, hopefully.

Yes, When you download the real weather from default Ms and you save your flight, the same real weather will contains in your flight , because each *.flt are saved with the *.wx weather files with the same name. Each time you will start your situation thats contains the real weather global, you will have the same global weather like before, and even you can use go to airports and the weather will still here world wide if you have saved your real weather as GLOBAL.
Thanks

When real weather is downloaded, it varies from airport to airport right? If I fly later on, will this real weather global model be retained? including the variations from airport to airport, if you know what I mean.
