Exclamation An update for you all.

Hey guys, you might have been wondering where I've been for the past couple of weeks. Well, as it turns out....my hard drive bit the dust. At first, we thought it was the motherboard. We were wrong. So, I leave you guys with one of my last shots.

Tyler - Suggestion - WD 1TB can go very reasonable now adays - I suggest looking into one from New egg.....you'll have alot of room. Sorry to hear man - was wondering where you've been.

    Best of luck!

Better Hard Drive then Mother Board, at least....then you don't need new processor, new Ram, etc...

That's unfortunate. I had the same thing happen this past December. Fortunately, I had everything backed up before it did, so recovery wasn't too difficult. Just tedious. Old one was a 250 GB hard drive, and I ended up getting a new 500 GB one. Hey, if I'm going to get a new one, might as well get a bigger one while I'm at it.

Sheesh! Hate it when that happens! Don't mind if the work hard drive goes - but not the FSX harddrive!! Hurry back!

That tough luck Tyler. Sometimes the techies can salvage stuff off of a HD.

Hey Tyler, that blimp makes you look fat! Try a Cub, ther're very slimming!
I had the same thing happen to my drive about six months ago. I bought a new Seagate 500 Gb and reloaded the important stuff (FSX). My old drive still had two years of warranty so the Segate folks send me a new one within the week. So now I have a dedicated FSX drive and all's right with the world. You have to see the opprtunity for improvement in these things. — Bob
