  1. Default Pre-Written Persuasive Speeches Online?

anybody know a site where i can find free pre written persuasive speeches..need one for speech class but I can't think of a good topic I could persuade about..my brain is just locked. :-hmmm

Try to persuade your teacher that you will never need such skills as making persuasive speeches. If done correctly, the irony alone should guarantee a good grade.

    Default plagiary, plagiarize, plagiarism

pla·gia·rize (pl³“j…-rºz”) v. pla·gia·rized, pla·gia·riz·ing, pla·gia·riz·es. --tr. 1. To use and pass off as one's own (the ideas or writings of another). 2. To appropriate for use as one's own passages or ideas from (another). --intr. To put forth as original to oneself the ideas or words of another. --pla“gia·riz”er n.

Be careful, teachers know where to find such sites for pre-written papers, so when they see or hear something familar you will get an F.

Topic suggestion: The future of air travel.

    Good luck

my teacher dont mind as long as I let him know and quote where I got it from as a source during the speech..making the speech is the hard part.

Quote this - sounds persuasive to me :) make sure you make regular stops in your sentences (perhaps every 3-4 words) and add some heavy breathing :)

"I envision a nation, where all people regardless of their flying ability, will be able to own and fly their own aircraft. This nation, will soar together into freedom! Make no mistake about it! To be, or not to be a pilot, that is the true question!" - Me

little bit of king, a little bit of shakespear, a bit of bush, and my own shiat made that up :)

But what's a "shiat?" (Could it be a Fiat assembled in Saudi Arabia?)

    Jeff,

I wonder ... That would be pronounced sh-e-e-e-e-i-t. But thanks for the link, I had no idea it existed. (Nor does it list "shiat", or even my variant for that matter.)

Still, I'll take your word for it. (Getting old.)

    Now ...

Let's be absolutely clear hear because I hate it when a terrific pun of mine is not understood in every exquisite nuance: Not only was I punning on "Fiat", I was also punning on "Shiite", the branch of The Faith.

But from your geopolitical posts of a year ago I suspect you knew that, didn't you? (But no, I will not be drawn into a geopolitical discussion.)
