I want to do a fight sim dvd. I am using fraps. I want a two track sound track. One soundtrack is an mp3 song and the other is mp3 atc chatter. I have tried multi channel setting on fraps and stereo but all i get is silence. I mixed the two songs with audacity.

I think the old windows movie maker multiple tracks of sound but the Windows seven does not have it or i do not know how to do it.

BTW...where are you getting your "atc chatter" at? Blending it in with a mp3 using Audacity is a good idea.

I found some here at Soundsnap

Correct Windows 7 Movie Maker was not included in Windows 7. Instead you can download Windows Live Movie Maker here:

Yes I tried windows live movie maker. It did not have multi channel audio. I am very happy with cyber link dvd director. I might have to pay for it once the trial is up. It is that good. I think I installed every dvd authoring software I can find and I think it kind of screwed up my system. I am guessing I have too many codecs intalled. Windows media player plays my videos but instead of sound I hear click click click, when I play the same file with another player however it does fine. So like I say by installing so much junk I guess I screwed my system up. I can always restore it if i ever get around to it. And it was worth it, all the experimentations got me to a final product dvd that I think is really good.

You also might want to check out Virtualdub. It's a free open source project that seems to have a large active community.

I know you can add at least one sound track, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone has created a "mod" that will let you add multiple tracks. Good luck!
