2010 kmem2004.zip Memphis International (Vladimir Svoboda).
Fedex Mega-Hub building is textured, even showing the huge FEDEX sign. (Attachment 1) Still some building textures missing around it, including the military hangar at North Area Parking.
I'm still missing some building textures on the main terminal and passenger concourses. (Attachment 2) I have been through the main terminal too many times to count, on my way somewhere else, but once in the 70's I was there when Elvis was paged. (Could have been pranksters, but it didn't sound like it. Yes, it was before he died. But I digress...
The Radisson Inn on property looks fairly well with customers' cars parked and sign, however, I believe the gray surrounding it is meant to give the impression that it's on a raised area. Those textures seem to be missing. (Attachment 4)
I placed the Finneysground crosshair object over the end of RWY 36C and tried as best I could center over it. From this viewpoint, with my computer telling me the object is oriented at 360 degrees (see red font at top of picture), the runways may or may not be oriented correctly, I don't know a thing about runway alignment. (Attachments 5, 6, 7).
I figure I'll eventually get the textures I need. The only one I can name is Gerrish Gray's tree_02. Can't find it anywhere.
Well, thanks for looking. Even my frame rates drop, the traffic flow is good, with the correct aircraft going to the correct gates. No planes sticking half-way through a building or anything like that.
Oh, yeah, funny thing, today the taxiway signs went away. They were there yesterday.
Nope, I didn't make any changes between times.
Svoboda, wherever you are, you did a great job, and this is my HUB airport, so I really appreciate that you took an interest in it so many years ago, and apparently have kept updating it.
I'll bet that with a more powerful computer and the right kind of tweaking to my scenery.cfg, this will be an insanely fabulous airport!![]()
