Been flying the heavies lately but I do not understand how to read the ETA in the FMC:
Currently, my ETA for Cairo Intl. (HECA) is 0103z.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have no idea what '0103z' means. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

0103z is 1:03 AM Zulu or Universal Coordinated Time(UCT), formerly Greenwich Mean Time(GMT) named for the Royal Greenwich Observatory.
It is the time standard at 0:00:00 Longitude otherwise known as the Prime Meridian. Depending on your time zone there is an offset of x hours from local time...Don
Here's the map link I use for reference: http://www.worldtimezone.com/index24.php
It's military style time: 0103z means, converting to a more familiar civilian style 12 hour clock, 1:03 AM Zulu time, that is, Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), or Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), the time in Greenwich, England. It is 5 hours ahead of the U.S. Eastern Time Zone, Eastern Standard Time. 1303Z would be 1:03 PM Zulu time.
Zulu time is an international standard, to help eliminate confusion when talking about times across the world. To get local time, you must adjust for daylight savings time, if needed, and add/subtract the difference between your time zone and that of Greenwich.

Each fix there has different ETAs (obviously).
It means it's estimated that you block NERRA at 2256z, KEA at 2349z and HECA at 0103z.
If you click "Next Page" it will show you the following fixes...
On what does "z" means, it was already explained.
Thanks for the help; it all makes sense now.![]()
