I'm no PC geek, but your video card is Nvidia-controlled, right?
If you can access the Nvidia control panel i'll tell you what to tweak, it's dead easy even for me..

PS- and there might be an option on your monitor to reduce colour intensity easily and quickly, i don't know

Yes I never touch my monitor colours, but sometimes I lighten or darken its picture.
Did you drag the Nvidia slider to the left to make your colours better?
    Did it work?

No, it does not aproach the realthing that much:

here are two images to compare reality to the game ( default settings on NVIDIA panel )

may be you can set it for me with your nvidia panel and give me the parameters ?

    thanks a lot !

First, if you want your monitor to display colours as accurately as possible, you need to calibrate it properly. Almost all LCD monitors come with brightness set too high and contrast set to something other than the right value. Give the guide below a read.

Secondly, while FSX can look really close to the real world, it is still just creating computer generated images. To get closer to what you see in the real world, you will need a faster processor and video card so you turn up the graphics settings in FSX. Also, some aircraft models have better looking textures than others, so you might different aircraft in the sim too.

I dont really mind about how the aircraft looks, its more the scenery.
