The fisrt picture has a blurred background which gives a movement effect to the airplane, thus making it a very outstanding shot. How did you accomplish this effect?

It is the first time I see an effect that conveys movement to shots which are precisely of moving planes.

Great shots. Some of the clearest I've seen in a while.

PIVEK: It's very easy to add motion blur to FS shots in Photoshop. I do it quite often!

If you like to see that effect...

Got it Andrew Can I use any other imaging software that has motion effect or any other effect for that matter? For example: I'm very proficient using the ACDsee Pro version or is it just inherent to Photoshop?

Yes, you should be able to as long as you have "motion blur" available under the "effects" menu. The trick is carefully selecting the area you wish to blur, espectially if the scenery is close to the aircraft itself.

I use a blur value of between 3 and 7 usually - any more than that and the effect is too much. In photoshop there is a button that allows you to select the direction of the blur. If you have this in your image editor, match this with the direction of travel of the aircraft and you should be away!

    Good luck - Have fun!
