I have used FS2004 for years now, and have never experienced this problem....hopefully, someone may be able to suggest a solution, or at least point me in a likely direction.
I recently downloaded two Concorde aircraft -- CONGA.ZIP was one, and the PM2 Concorde was the other. The installation went normally, and I had no problems loading either aircraft. I initiated a takeoff, set my GPS to a destination, and was off and running.
However, anywhere from 40 minutes into a flight, all the way up to several hours, and in some cases not until final approach -- my computer suddenly shut down (completely powered off) without any warning. I thought it might be caused by some cockpit switch setting, or perhaps occurred at only specific altitudes or airspeeds -- but there seems to be no rhyme or reason that is causing the sudden powerdown. I have noted that this problem only seems to happen with Concorde aircraft -- no other aircraft that I have in my collection causes this problem.
I am running with WindowsXP (Service Pack 3 installed) with FSUIPC Version 3 installed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
