Default 747/737 vs POSKY, or other freeware

Hey guys in your opinion, are the default 737/747 worse than any other freeware aircraft of the same type? I downloaded a Thai repaint for my default 747 and it looked pretty darn good. However, I do have a large collection of POSKY aircraft.

The main advantage the default aircraft have is there VC as not all freeware models come with one. I do find though that the quality of the POSKY models is of a higher standard to look at though. It really comes down to whether you use a VC or not.
