Ground Texture dissappears near the airplane

Hi

I'm making a custom scenery, but I have a problem with the gournd texture.
Near the airplane, the texture won't show. But far from the airplane, the texture shows. The missing texture "follows" the airplane.

Anyone know, shat i can do to fix this ?

I changed my LOD settings from "Auto" to 5,15 - and now the texture is visible
