I would like to know the use of the 3 fallowing aviation terms.

    1. 737 NG ... what does the NG mean? Can the regular fs9 program use them?

    2. On the engine gauges ... what does the itt mean?

    3. I've been a flight simmer for quite some time .... navigating via VOR, NDB, Intersections, Fixes, LOM, ILS/GS, but, on the autopilot controls what is the "Nav" for?

    Thanks .... Ira

    1. Next Generation, as opposed to Classic. 737NG=737-700,800,900 and yes FS9 uses them A-OK.

    2. Internal Turbine Temperature

    3. Nav/GPS defines if the autopilot is being driven by the NAV1 radio or the GPS.

    Hope this helps.

    3. Which one do you mean?
NAV on the autopilt couples the horizontal autopilot to the nav signal. this will make the plane intercept and follow a VOR radial, ILS localizer or GPS leg.
The NAV/GPS switch is used to set which (the NAV radio or the GPS) provides the NAV input to the autopilot.
