Thumbs up The Beautiful Westland Whirlwind

Have always loved the looks of this RAF WWII Warbird. Only 9 shots as my PC was acting up, and decided to crash during cruise flight ...

    Real info here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westlan...lwind_(fighter)

    Hope you enjoy! Mike

44 views and no replies? I am not here for a popularity vote by any means, but are these shots so bad as even a newbie cannot comment - perhaps my retirement from screenshooting is evident?

Beautiful shots of that beast Mike.I must admit the British had some strange looking planes, but i guess that's what makes them so interesting.Great job.

Don't even think of retirement from screenshooting,i know it's frustrating at times especially in the summer, but hang in there buddy.

Well, thanks for the positive feedback my Friends! And, like I said, I don't post to make myself feel better by getting lots of replies, but sometimes it is frustrating to get no replies ... especially with the time & effort to grab shots, edit and re-size them. You FS vets know what I am talking about.

Sorry, couldn't think of anything witty to say. Then Jan posted puppy pix and, well y'know... puppies, cute... Ahh, nice caps, very interesting! But still... puppies! — Bob

Gotta say, weird looking plane! I was thinking a helo too... I guess it's the same make of the Lynx, right?

    Nice shots though!

Yes, it can be confusing because there is a Helicopter by the same name ...

    Cheers! Mike
