    Default ***!!!***!!!!*** Terrain Following A/P ***!!!!!***!!!***

YOU NEED THIS IN YER B-52!!! Tied directly to the Rad-Altimeter!!

Straight from the manual... Yes I RTFriendlyM...:-lol:-lol:-lol

    Flight Director special modes

    Cruise height (CR.HT)
Uses radio height as a reference in altitude hold mode. Desired radio height can be selected by the CR.HT knob.

    This is absolutely amazing!!!!!!

Huummm as I scratch my pointed little head.

Correct me if I am wrong. However, wouldn’t it be a little bit hazardous to drop 500lb or 1000lb bombs from a B-52 at low altitude? I think they would be way to slow might want to think about things like flying debris and fragments and possibly concussion effects, just a thought. In a fighter-bomber like the FB111, it would be cool because they had that.

Looking forward to the heli your testing though.

    Default What a ride...........

Tested some of the auto t/o, and auto t/o to hover functions. Kinda spooky, not AT ALL used to a copter start doin things on it's own!!!

Then using Weather 2002, I dialed in 'worsening-constant' conditions. She held alt and heading just fine. Both in VOR1, and Heading hold. And in this severe Wx test, the terrain following function worked perfectly!! Fantastic!!

They have Snakeeye bombs now that can be dropped at low level. Veins or a parachute pops out the back of the bomb to slow it down and retard the fall.
