Fatal error after install of mission bridgetufa

Hi I downloaded mission bridgetufa and started up FSX seem to be loading OK got to 100 % then nothing...Black screen and fatal error messgae and started Flightsim up again. Its obvioulsy something to do withthe file I downloaded? Any ideas.

It could well be that the file you downloaded was created for use with the basic FSX installation only and perhaps you have SP 1 and or 2 installed or have Acceleration installed. Or Visa-versa.

I have seen a few posts like yours and that seemed to be the problem. No work around other than the author creating an updated version that I am aware of.

Hi,

guess I was a bit bored watching football, so did some searching...

Following the readme, you need to download/install two additional AC (both found here in the DL section)
1) the Skyraider, do a search for A-1hSYRAIDER_navy.ZIP, don't worry 'bout the missing "K" , it's like that
2) the Hughes OH-6 chopper, search for OH-6A.zip.

Didn't try for myself (yet) but think this should do the thing, happy simmin'
[EDIT] Tried it meanwhile, it works...

I had already downloaded the aircraft. No luck fatal error stil occured. Might be as David said.

In fact, the mission is Accel Only. It starts from the default Accel carrier.
Did you try to fly the Skyraider and the chopper in free flight seperate from the mission? If not, try that first... with me they work OK in FSX. Once you got the AC working, mission should work as well.

Can PM me if you want, I still have it all installed... not planning on flying it btw. I'll stick with Duke Nukem when it comes to demolishing stuff...
