    this paint job should be totally easy...

    Its for the Cal Classics CV-580.

    Here is an image of it showing the true colors. Thats all i want is just a paintjob just like this below

    a friend of mine says theres already a great lakes one around but i havent seen them...

    Have you even tried to look.

    Go to the library, click on advanced search, and put great lakes in the "all these words" box.

    i found one but its for FS2k2. Im looking for FS2k4 (aka FS9)

    The base file for that paint is cv-580.zip. That file has installers for 2002 and 2004.

    It's for the same model as you have and works great in FS9, AKA FS2004.

    Thanks Darren it still needs a lot more than just the text, but could you download the aircraft and see if the tail beacon shines down the tail on the port side and not on the starboard side. You can see the red down the tail in the screenshot. I wonder if it is just like that or I have not installed it properly.
