Question How can i set realism for nice landings ?

    hi,
I've seen many FSX videos where we can see the plane banking really slighty to each side before landing but some how i never got such effects.
I've modified weather, realisme settings and there is no effect.
My plane just lands straight without any wind effects..

    an exemple here:

Dont use the rudder when really close to landing, also make sure there is a crosswind.

I think OP Lefu means AI landings ? Don't think you can do a lot about that (ir)realism...

OTOH, my user AC practically NEVER lands straight. Always with the last second wings banks Lefu likes that much, and which I'm training on to avoid ...

    Lefu,

I think what might be happening is when people are doing the slight banking from side to side they're making sure that the plane is lined up with the runway, which I do quite frequently some flights if I don't think it looks right.

That might be what you have to do is adjust it with slight variants so it's with the center line....

Yeah it's not an "effect", it's the pilot making corrections on approach.

Maybe the fact that i allways use ILS approach and keep the plane straight untill touch down ?..

Yup, that would do it. Unless there was a strong crosswind, the A/P would hold it straight down the pipe. Disengage the A/P when you're about 500ft AGL and fly it down yourself.

You'll get the movement you want.

We can also set some turbulence in 'Weather' to give ourself bumpy air for more of a challenge.

No problem man - I always do manual landings, so I find I do that drifting quite a bit....
