    Default Newfoundland Flightseeing

Hi all,I was watching a show about the Targa Newfoundland Ralley a few weeks ago and was just amazed at the beauty of the rugged coastal areas and interior of this country. The flight is from St.Johns to St.Mary's in the great Wittman Tailwind from Lionheart Creations.I was hoping that it would be as pretty as the real place but good ol'MS dropped the ball on this area as usual....St. Mary's did'nt even have an ops shack at the field....Oh well,I'm lucky it even had a windsock there...Lol!

Thanks Buddy, appreciate the kind words! If ya ever see that Targa Ralley advertised on TV check it out...it is an absolutely cool race,it is run in stages on the public roads up there and they include cars like a '67 Acadian (Canadian Nova) and an old '66 Shelby GT350 mustang!

Speaking of the '66 Shelby GT350 mustang.I had a new 1966 Dodge Charger, with a factory 383 racing engine. One day going to work one of my co-workers had a Shelby mustang and he waited for me in town, and here we are going down the highway early in the morning side by side at 120mph.I really don't know who would have won,as the road went from four to two lanes and we had to back off.Needless to say i was pumped for the rest of the day, didn't need any coffee to wake up.

Another great post Gary Amigo! Looks really good on your system -

I think I'm feeling the urge to buy another aircraft soon - maybe a get well gift for myself with this darn cold/flu since it could be around another 2 weeks after speaking to the DR tonight....

Thanks much Amigo, you take care of yourself and get some rest,I know how those "summer colds" can hang on,a little Nyquil and new bird sounds like a great combination for a quick recovery!
