    Default reinstall FSX

as stated previously reinstalled FSX with EXACTLY the same setting as I had before due to a comp. problem. I have reinstalled FSXtwice since then wiped out the CFG. and started fresh, not only has it not gotten any better but it has gotten worse with wavy lines on the ground especially along the edge of the runway and where the runways cross any help would be appreciated thanks

Like many others no doubt, I can't be bothered to hunt down this previous issue your refer to, so have no idea what you're on about.

Wiggly lines are generally display settings controlled by the graphic card, driver and settings. Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering can variously be applied in-sim or externally using the driver settings.

More than that no-one can say unless you are specific...

It's all hardware/graphical settings in the Anti aliasing - check Anti Aliasing in the Sim Display settings, that will smooth it a bit. Then check out your graphic card display settings for the same thing, and turn it up a bit.

i urge everyone reading this who has had problems w fs10 to track hours trying to fix it, set a limit and, if the limit is exceeded, dump it for a worthwhile flightsim. life is made out of time and time wasted is lost forever and ever. you are that much closer to your death with nothing gained. i have owned over a hundred games and over thirty flightsims and never seen so many problems with any of them.

if fsx works on your system without too much effort trying to fix it, then more power to you and i hope u enjoy it. but please dont lose track of all your effort in a vain hope that someday you might be able to enjoy it. of course only you can decide how much effort is too much, but i beg you to keep track. if after that it still doesnt work, then dont let some damned negligent corporation steal your very life from you.

I've had FSX for about 2 years and get on alright with it.
I notice many people seem to have problems after they've installed an add-on of some kind,or Vista, but I don't use many add-ons and I'm Win XP Home so that's probably why I don't have problems.
The FSX scenery is better than the FS2004 scenery, that's the reason I prefer FSX to FS2004.
If FSX begins giving me trouble, I'll uninstall it and go back to FS2004..
