Default FS Real Weather loading extremely outdated weather

today, I downloaded the default real weather. I found that the weather information is more than 24 hr ago. Few hours later, I downloaded it again, still get the same extremely old weather information. What's wrong with the MS weather server?
I found that the weather I downloaded is Southeast wind. But I checked the airport weather from local weather observatory, I found that in the past 24 hr, the wind is from Southwest to NorthWest. There are no Southeast wind! What's wrong?
The airport I used is a major airport, the weather should be updated several times per hour

the FS 'real world weather' is only updated hourly.

depending on the source that FS and jeppesen are using the weather may be uploaded less often. there is also the chance that the weather station isn't reporting.

After one day, I still get the same set of extremely outdated weather information. And I also found that other airports also have the same problem. Really strange.

Give us a specific weather station ID and the conditions reported so we can check/ verify the static result. But in the past when some one has complained about this situation it is almost always one of two things:

    (1) Your computer temporary internet cache is supplying the data. Clear out all your temporary internet files.

    or,

    (2) Your ISP is caching data on it's servers. Keeping old data on their servers and replying to your request with old data cuts down on their bandwidth usage and costs.

I flew EGNX-LEMD this afternoon and opted for real world weather.

It's been warm in the UK for a few days, baking hot today with not a cloud in the sky and temps on the ground of around 26c. When FS9 booted up it was thick cloud overhead with around 8 miles vis and 16c.

I'd say that real world weather is about 2 weeks out of date. Changed it to the default weather "clear skies" theme and flew in more locally realistic conditions.

Weather in FS9 at EGNX right now (10:53 pm local) is "Wind 262 @ 5 kts, Vis 50nm, scattered clouds, Temp 69F, Dewpoint 51F, Alt 30.48" which is very close to the real world Metar is - "EGNX 232120Z 28004KT CAVOK 19/12 Q1019"

I assume you download Real World Weather after starting your flight in FS, so you were not seeing weather stored in your default flight.

So the issue is not with Jeppsen/ MS - but with your computer or your ISP.

I have tried to use third party proxy server to avoid the ISP's cache, but the problem still exist. Is it the problem of my Flight simulator?

    Talking Old Wx info

    I'm having the same issue.
I'm in Uruguay!! So the server cache cannot be a problem.
In KSUS has been raining for AT LEAST 48 hrs. now.
I have access to "fs2k.zone.com". I've also clear the cache and downloaded again. STILL raining in KSUS.
I don't think I can resolve this BUT at least I now know is not a problem in MY system.

    Cheers!
