I'm trying to make an Etihad F1 repaint for the Thomas Ruth A340-600...I Know the tools needed to make this kind of livery but I don't understand why if I use a single color layer, like in this example where I painted all the fuselage with pure black
I don't have any sign of textures issues, while if I use a layer painted with a three color gradient,(required to make the F1 Etihad livery) it is clearly visible the texture "juction" between front and rear fuselage textures...
As you can see I tried to make a gradient with the black in a position that avoid the shade change between black and red in the position of the junction...(a little different from the actual livery) but it is an unuseful trick...

this is the best I have obtained...so finally I could give a really nice look(the F1 Etihad livery, I think is one of the best paint schemes used by an airliner) to the thomas Ruth A340-600
