    Default desperate for WOAI Flybe.

Hey everyone. After a long break from FS I've started to use it again(PC Crash) took me over a week to get everything back and set up ect. The only thing missing is the World Of Ai Package for Flybe, I almost always start my flights at Jersey Airport and without Flybe it just doesn't seem right. If anyone would be kind enough to send the package I would really appreciate it. I've looked everywhere and just can't it. Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you are not aware that the WOAI folks have requested that withdrawn packages not be shared as it makes it far more difficult for them to negotiate with authors for replacement models.

That being said, you might check out this file in the library:

    aig_summer_2009_flybe.zip

It is by the Alpha-India group and may provide at least some of the info you need to create your own Flybe replacement.

If you have not already done so, you might check the Project AI (PAI) site to see if they have FLYbe in their archives. I often use their packages to fill in what is not currently available from WOAI.

    Good luck.

Hi and thanks a lot for your reply. I wasn't aware sharing Package caused problems, I don't want that. I followed the helpful links you provided and also downloaded AI Flight Planner. I think the best thing for me is to wait for WOAI to release another Flybe package. In the mean time, I figured it was a good idea to use AIFP to increase traffic into Jersey using WOAI Packages. I've read the pdf over 5 times now and just don't understand why its not working. I've tried editing the BA package to increase traffic like changing destinations to EGJJ plus everything else that needs changing, I save the legs, and then compile the whole package back into FSX world scenery. Nothing happens and I have no idea why. I'm totally lost.

If you have any WOAI packages installed, their traffic files are most likely in FS2004 format and need to be converted to FSX format. That is easily done from the file menu of AIFP.

The problem is that FSX can read FS2004 Traffic files and FSX Traffic files - BUT - not both at the same time. If it encounters a FS2004 Traffic file it will read that and will not read any of the FSX ones.

When making the conversion I like to use to option to append FSX to the resulting file name. That makes it easy to then delete the original traffic file(s), leaving only the converted ones.

    Example:
    orginial file name: Traffic_000_WoA_American Airlines_Su08.bgl
    converted name: Traffic_000_WoA_American Airlines_Su08_FSX.bgl

Hope that helps - keep us posted.

Oh I see, that makes a lot more sense. I currently have 77 WOAI packages so do I need to convert all of them before making/editing new ones? Thank you so much for your help.

Yep - Any FS2004 format Traffic file will cause all FSX format traffic files not to display.

You can convert all of them at one time using the AIFP conversion tool.

Also, if you have not done so already, you may wish to disable the default Traffic file which comes with FSX (trafficAircraft.bgl) by renaming it to something like trafficAircraft.bgl.orig

That will remove the default Soar, Landmark etc. flights and leave only the real world airlines of WOAI active.

In any case, be sure you remove or delete the original WOAI Traffic files and keep only the converted ones.

It should not take long to make the conversion. Good Luck!

I really can't thank you enough! I've followed all your instructions and everything is running perfectly. I've now got my home airport full of traffic. Thanks again
