First off, for those knowing of my situation & missed my recent post on the "Pregnant Guppy" thread, I've recently talked on the phone with my sister. She is now saying that I should hold off from driving all of the way back to Port Angeles again for the moment, as it appears that our mother will soon be able to transfer nursing homes from Port Angeles to one closer to my sister in Portland, Oregon. That will be great! So, am not out my front door [this] morning afterall as I thought I would be just 24 hours ago. If mom is able to be transfered then I'll visit her there as she adjusts & stay with my sister for just a week or two. Looks like things are going to work out better than anticipated.

So, now having some extra bucks that was going to be immediately used for traveling & fuel, had got back around to finally deciding on a set of tubes to fly. The decision has taken 16 months! Am not a real pilot so something enjoyable & not too demanding to fly instrument-wise with great flight dynamics, good looks & fine sound. Am thinking I've filled the bill...

There are issues with the VC as well as having no 2D panel in some models though the cures are being promised soon (almost getting to be waaaaaaaaaaaaay too common to be hearing within the FS development community these days, imo). I purchased the set through Just Flight & there is a good amount of info on their support part of their website to have to wade through to get up to speed on it.

Bottom line so far: .. ~ boxcar like ~ ...

Nice one David, my friend - Like those shots... Will keep your family in my prayers in these times...hope things will work out...

Didn't recognize you in the Airbus! Used to seeing you in the Mix Master, and other types of aircraft like that....like the new suit as people say...

Better than hearing, "Is that you? Thought so - what's it been, 10, 15 years? Thought I recognized the suit..." - Quoted from one of my favorite Herman cartoons...

Awesome shots David. Congrats on the new purchace.
The pilot is bound only by his mind and his machine. We must expand the mind before we expand the machine, and by expanding the mind, we may expand the machine. Our mind is being expanded by the sim. It is not a game.
