    Default What about this system?

    Hi all,

What about this system for FSX:

    Intel i7 950 @ 4.6 GHz Windows 7, Forcware 182.52, ASUS P6T7 WS, GTX-280, Memory: OCZ Blade 2000MHz 7-8-7-20, 2x SAS 15k Raid 1 with 256MB Controller.

I got all this info from a friend. Still have to get more. Cost is not a factor since I'm getting this for about 500$ - 1000$.

    Regards,
    JJ.

Why not?? If it's that inexpensive you could invariably change about equipment as issues or changes you would want later come up.

    ASUS P6TX58, I7 920, Antec 900 ATX, Ultra PSU 650w, Crucial DDR3 6GB, Radeon HD 5850, WIN 7 64bit, INTEL SSD 80GB X25-M, WD 300GB VRaptor.

In India, you can get anything you want for a reduced cost (not online, from a local store). I got MS Office for 8$.

    Hello,

I have looked into this and it is very much possible. Although, it may require quite some work. This is an experts opinion:

My i7 950 was overclocked. I was lucky with that CPU, because not every i7 is able to overclock that much.

Yes, he got to 4.6 GHz. If the shop has I am purchasing from already has a overclocked one then I might be lucky too. If not, I can still wait for them to tweak it or settle with the stock one because that's quite fast too.

    Regards,
    JJ.
