    Default Shockwave 3D Lights Redux! Help!

    Hi all,

    I am seriously frustrated, angry and confused now ! Can somebody who has already made adjustments to the panel and aircraft CFGs of their PMDG 737 & 747 (all types) so as to make the Shockwave/A2A 3D Lights Redux compatible with them please share those changes! I am getting all confused...

    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry for being soo lazy.

    Regards,
    JJ a.k.a Jet Jockey.

    Oh uh, a little more help needed. Do I have to replace the whole '[LIGHTS]' section of the aircraft.cfg or do I have to change the numbers?

    Hello,

    If you take the configurations from the 3D lights forums .. you have just to use the configurations offered to replace (the whole '[LIGHTS]) the original in the aircraft.cfg
    So you erase the original and use the modified (be sure to save the original just in case !!)
    Also don't forget to add some strings in the panel.cfg as required!

    Regards.

    Hello,

    Assume it's for PMDG 747 FS2004 ....

    Ae you using this ? ... (from the Shockwave 3D Lights database)

    PMDG 747-400
    AIRCRAFT.CFG

    [LIGHTS]
    light.0 = 3, -225.90, 0.30, 4.72, fx_navwhih, //Position Aft
    light.1 = 3, -225.90,-0.30, 4.72, fx_navwhih, //Position Aft
    light.2 = 1, -33.596, 0.00, 14.868, fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red, //Beacon Top
    light.3 = 1, -86.149, 0.00,-11.735, fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red, //Beacon Bottom
    light.4 = 9, -210.149, 8.00, 35.117, fx_pmdg744_logo, //Logo Right
    light.5 = 9, -210.149, -8.00, 35.117, fx_pmdg744_logo, //Logo Left
    light.6 = 6,-21.7, 0,-11.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_nose //Landing nose
    light.7 = 5,-77.0,19,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_rw //Landing right wing
    light.8 = 5,-76.0,-19.0,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing

    light.9 = 2, -225.52, 0.00, 4.20, fx_shockwave_strobe_l,//Strobe Aft

    PANEL.CFG

    [VCockpit01]
    gauge20=shockwave_lights!SW Lights, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
    gauge21=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

    NOTE:

    To get the nose gear mounted lights to go off when the gear is raised, you will need to toggle the taxi light switch in the cockpit (panel SHIFT-2, at the bottom). Otherwise the taxi lights mounted on the nose gear will blink when the gear is raised.

    Regards.

    Avechelice: Yes, I am using exactly the same thing as you have provided. I obtained it from the link provided my Mark. BTW, its the PMDG 747 for FS2004 (9.1).

    Hello,

    Be sure you have this Shockwave file in your effects folder:

    light.8 = 5,-76.0,-19.0,-3.7, fx_shockwave_landing_light_747_lw /Landing left wing
    Otherwise I'm out of options

    Edited:
    I think I have the solution !
    Will post later .. dinner time !!!

    Regards.
