Default Friday Harbor to Whidbey with a Cub.

    Hi,

Here a few shots of a flight from Friday Harbor (KFHR) to Widhbey I NAS (KNUW) using the default Piper J-3 Cub.

All okay, time to get outside and get that engine running.

Okay, engine started, everything's okay and door shut.

Taxiing now...View of an S-turn from the cockpit.

    Lined up, ready to go.

    Up, up and away!

On our way for a really long straight in approach into runway 13. We have to be able to clear that little hill there and then turn right towards the runway.

    Cleared it without problems.

    There's Whidbey.

We're on a long final now. A view of the serene water to our right.

Final @ 60 MPH (beats the boats!).

    More in the next part...

    Default Part two...

    Anyone familiar with that bridge?

    ]

    Not really long now...

    Okay, let's do this.

A little low, but I'll take care of that.

And its a wheeler (wheel landing).

After quite a long and frustrating taxi, I found one stand right in front of the fuel box. Gas is cheap in flight simulator.

    Okay, that's it! Enjoy!

Now you have to try the same flight with the A2A Cub and PNW and you'll see the difference!

Yes, I was using static real world weather.

I was thinking of that...but decided why wait till getting it so I did it with the default Cub. BTW, what's PNW?
