Apologies to those who freaked out at my signature

Hi,

I apologize to those who freaked out at my previous signature that had an animated GIF image that read 'Downloading Virus, Please Wait...'

I noticed that my signature image has been removed and edited to "My signature was really dumb!".

I'd like to know who did that, just for the record. I know its my fault, anyway. I didn't mean to freak people out. Just a fun thing.

We know it's someone with moderator functions - as who, I don't know, but we can only speculate.....There are more PROFESSIONAL ways to point out someone's errors...like sending private messages and ASKING them to remove it....

People have to realize there's a thing called tact and professionalism in every day life, and if you're a mod, that was really, really an unprofessional way of handling the situation - I don't know if they thought it funny, but rethink next time you do that to someone. At leaste PM them and give them a chance to fix it themselves....

I wouldn't mind and would comply if he just sent me a PM. This is actually quite a bad way of getting a point accross. Whoever did that, please tell through a PM in case there is something like this in the future.

I thought it was removed on the context that it freaked people out. It is silly, but I had that doubt only. But wait, removing it on the context of 'offence' is also silly. I'm still eager to know who did it and he must provide a valid reason...

Maybe if you get a response from one of the mods eventually it may be that guilty party "defending" themselves....though there is no deffense for rudeness and ignorance. I've worked in many customer service positions before going to school for PCs that we'd be fired for doing something like that....or put on probabtionary measures....

That's what I want to know. There's no way Nels would have done it. I'm intimate enough with him for him to tell me...and besided he's a nice person.
I think we should just drop the topic and move on with our lives.
