The Aerosoft F-16 is about the best you'll find for FSX, that is until the
F-18 from Vertical Reality Simulations comes out for FSX next month.

The reports on it's FS9 model have been outstanding.

There's an outstanding freeware F-14D in the files of this website.

IRIS Simulations has an F-14, F-15, F-4 Phantom II and I think an F-16.

I don't know much about them as I don't care for IRIS Simulations stuff.

I own both the f-14D from this site and the Aerosoft f-16. The F-14 is my favorite of the two, but I'm glad I have both. Download the freebie F-14 carrier landing mission on this site also for a lot of pleasant hours learning to bring one of the heaviest fighters onto a carrier. I also added a soundset to the F-14D which added a lot to it.

    Thumbs up

I'd venture to say that it would most likely be the F/A-18E Superbug by Vertical Reality Simulations once the FSX version is released. It will probably blow them all out of the water.

Make certain to give us your critique when it comes out. Pricy little thing though huh?

I like the IRIS F-16D. I'm also looking forward to the Superbug.

i have loads of add on air craft, mostlty free ware, but i would definatly recomend the real air spitfire,

the whole thing is absolutly amazing,

but for the best free ware, i would definatly recomend the F-14D from this site,

it has got to be the best one, there are however repaints on here as well, so if you get board,

I'm looking forward to the superbug as well..

I don't have an issue with paying $50 for a well modeled aircraft with a ton of liveries. No worse than people paying $70-100 for a 747!
