Is there a way in fs9 to 'auto' taxi like in fsx where turning the joystick would act as the rudder? In fsx the key was Ctrl + Shift + U But that doesnt work on fs9.

In FS9 try turning on the "auto-rudder" option - it is under Settings/Realism.

That should do the trick.
